I would do a day in June!!
Me 2! June works well for me as well!
Great idea and Beautiful Yacht! = )
That’s so nice of you to invite us! Though I don’t think you want a 9m pregnant lady on board. maybe at the end of summer 🙂
What a wonderful way to share your hobby with us. I would be able to attend in June as well. Thank you for the invitation!
Your boat is amazing! looks more like a yaught:) June is great for me too
Thank you for the invite! Would love to join you!! Not sure yet about weekend of 5/15-16, but will be back in touch.
Dear Captain Moroz,
I would like to come along on a sailing expedition.
I will keep my fingers crossed that a vacation week will coincide with a sailing opportunity. August 1st or 8th when a friend of mine from Florida will be in town might be fun. She is much more entertaining to take along on a sailboat than I am.
I have sailing experience and will try to remember which way to luff the sail on the tacking into the wind maneuver.
Thanks.
Hey Dr. M,
I think July will be better for me… save me a seat!
PS – I know nothing about sailing but I know EVERYTHING about enjoying the sun and relaxing
i am down Dr.M.. and I’ll even bring a date along 🙂 let me know when you end up taking her out.. all weekends are good except memorial day weekend!
Can’t wait to sneak in my alcohol 😉
Looks fun! Anytime in June would be good for me. Are we allowed to bring 1 guest?
Happy to have guests aboard when there is space- our residents get priority seating 🙂
Don’t miss the boat…
Plenty of seats for this Sunday- excellent opportunity to bring dates or friends!
Awesome. Count me in. I will bring my girlfriend. I will also bring my camera gear Wear your sailor outfit. 😉

Some time in June MEA will be sailing up the Hudson to Haverstraw for a refit.
The trip is 10-12 hours one way, and we will stay there for a day.
Planned repairs and upgrades include:
-repair of the anchor windlass
-engine diagnostics and maintenance
-installation of an AIS transponder (that little gadget will allow us to see and be seen by other ships regardless of visibility)
Extra sail this Sunday if weather allows- 3 spots available. Mystery crew member will be helping.
I want to sign in 3 crew members for next Sunday May 30th. Nannette
Dr. Moroz,

Extreme night sailing- taking a train and a ferry to Haverstraw, and sailing down to Brooklyn on Friday night, arriving Saturday morning.
Other than splitting the mainsail arrived home in style. Exciting time- current was with us most of the time, and that shaved off 2 hours from estimated travel time. And, I saw not one but two shooting stars, not to mention new moon, setting Venus, Polaris, Arcturus…
sounds great Dr. Moroz, if only a camera could capture a shooting star!
Sign up for September 11 or 12.
if there is still room, I would like to go on the 11th or 12th. Thanks.
You are in for the first mate docket, given your sailing experience.
Saturday the 11th…
Saturday the 11th at 11AM at 10 Webers Ct Brooklyn 11235.
814 880 6167 if this is not correct?
Thanks, Amy
Next sail probably September 25-26
Sailing in Central Park this weekend.
Will move water activities to next weekend if nature behaves.
Hoping to sail on Sunday October 3, if it is dry and reasonably warm.
Let me know if you will be coming.
We are planning to sail MEA from her winter quarters in Rockaway to home berth in Sheepshead Bay on Saturday May 14, weather permitting.
June 18th is too soon for me, I just came home from PR and need more time to bake the cookies. I will love to come once this summer when there is space. One of my daughters is living with me temporarily and I will please like to bring her when there is space.
Sounds like a plan!
Our guest crew of 5 fought the elements and mal de mer valiantly. Great southern rollers with wind that blew at steady 20 knots and gusted to 24 made for a real sailing experience. We escaped the rain, however, which did not begin until after 4.
MEA is signed up for a July 4 Regatta; Our crew (Moroz, Moroz and Davila) are thoroughly worked up and ready to go for the win 🙂
Check us out:
We secured an honorable last place and received a traditional Slaves Trophy given to the slowest boat 🙂
Planning to depart by 11 on August 5
